APPLICATION TO BE A MEMBER of the Entertainment Network…

Add your name to the list of artists, agents, producers and others in the Industry.  The Directory is the first place people go when they are looking for Tribute and Variety and Convention Entertainment.  All of the Members of the Network are listed in the DIRECTORY with their Photos, Phone Numbers, Email Addresses and Websites.

ABOUT THE ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK:

Annual fees for Artists are $30; Agents, Producers and others in the industry annual fees are $50.

Artists who also act as Agents and Producers will be duo-members and pay an annual fee of $50.

All new members will submit their applications for membership complete with a $50 Application Fee, 2 – 3 photos and a resume of their experience or letters of recommendation for Network Staff approval. The Application Fee includes the first year’s dues.

Upon acceptance, the new member will be introduced to the membership in the newsletter and shall be then placed in the Directory of our website.

NEW ARTISTS APPLICATIONS:

Pertaining to Celebrity Impersonators: For the past 12 years we have stressed that Tribute Artists should Look like the celebrities they emulate. IF the celebrity sings, the tribute artist sings unless it is clearly stated that the artist is a Look-alike or lip-syncs. NO photographs should be used anywhere where the tribute artist does not look like the celebrity…. And will no longer be placed on our website or in our referral files. Professional photographs are desired.

If you do not look like the celebrity or perform like the celebrity, you do not belong in the Entertainment Network as a Tribute Artist. This does not apply to Impressionists, Comedians, Variety Artists, Speakers and Voice-overs, Dancers, etc.

VIOLATIONS:

Agents and Producers who do not pay the artist/member for performances performed shall be contacted by the Network requesting payment to the artist within 10 days…or, with the artist’s approval, satisfactory arrangements for payment. If this cannot be accomplished, the agent will be noted in the newsletter as a warning to other artists.

In the event an artist distributes his own business cards to the client or audience without the agent’s approval, he will be subject to a 10% fine with payment to the agent who booked the talent for the event.

Defamation of Character is one of the most serious of violations. Much time will be spent to determine the damage and, when the seriousness is established, the violator will not longer be a Member of the Network.

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

ALL professionals engage in continuing education. Most spend hours each day perfecting their talent. Our industry supports two conventions annually with seminars and showcases. A requirement to be a member of the Network will be a requirement to attend at least one convention and an artist to perform in at least one showcase within a two-year period. Attendance will be recorded in the Directory. Convention presented Awards will also be in the Directory.

THE SPECIAL FUND:
This Fund was established to give aid or consolation to our members in need. Those who contribute to this Fund will be noted in the Directory.
